About the Association and its objectives
NERMA is a non-profit organization incorporated under Alberta Society’s Act and it’s formed for the unity of the Malayalee residing in different communities of Edmonton Region. NERMA acts according to a set of bylaws and it has programs and activities for the promotion of Kerala culture and Malayalam language among Edmonton Malayalee. NERMA is happy to assist this Malayalee community, by means of employment support, residential settlement support and new-immigrant support.
NERMA is obliged to safeguard it’s member’s confidential details and the association will work on a trustful manner to its members. Each member is expected to be responsible and noble to the association and to other members. Each member has the following rights and privileges.
• To attend and express their opinions in association’s meetings
• To receive notices regarding the meetings of the association
• To vote at the meetings (if the member is more than 18 years old with a valid annual membership)
Please be advised that any member who violates any operational norms of the association including social media confidentiality breach will be involuntarily removed from the association with a two weeks notice.
